Reviewing the George Foreman Electric Grill

April 27th, 2011

According to a George Foreman electric grill review by one site reviewer, grilling can’t be any easier than with this barbecue grill.

All you have to do to use the George Foreman electric grill, according to this review, is just plug it in and wait ten minutes for its surface to heat up. This electric grill’s range has a heat adjustor that lets you set it low to keep food warm all the way up to high to sear steaks.

The surface of this grill is non-stick, so not only do you not have to add any nonstick spray or grease but cleaning is quick and easy. This George Foreman electric grill review also points out the advantages of its subtle sloping, which draw the fat or other disposable liquids into the tray below. The dome is high and the lid vented, both helping to create a circular hot air flow. This gives the grill the added benefit of providing even cooking. This, according to the George Foreman electric grill reviewer, is especially important when preparing a big roast or a whole chicken.

You can put this George Foreman grill on your tabletop or let it stand on its own pedestal. The surface of the grill is approximately six inches high. The pedestal is aptly sturdy although this George Foreman electric grill owner mentioned that the grill did seem a little top heavy. This could be a concern if you have small active children in the area of your grill site. You’ll want to keep an eye on it to make sure it is topple-proof.

Solving the scarcity of money

April 27th, 2011

Ask any economist and theyll tell you: money is scar?ce. Thats why its so popular. When they say scarce they dont mean that theres too little money in the world, they just mean that the ratio of people who want it and people who have it is quite large. If money werent a scarce commodity, it would sure be a different world!

So if money is so scarce, how do you get the things you want and need? What if you want that nice sports car? Or a boat? Or a house? Or an addition on your house?

In fact, maybe you find that your income is just enough to make ends meet, with barely any extra left over to put away for a rainy day. If thats you, you might want to consider getting a UK secured loan to help you get the things you want and need. That way, youll still be able to enjoy the things you want and youll have a low monthly payment to pay it back, so you can start enjoying it right away!

An unsecured loan is a loan that relies only on your credit rating to determine whether or not a lending institute will give you money. These types of loans will often not give you a lot of money and they will charge high interest and have shorter repayment periods.

However a secured loan may be a better option. And if you want that boat, fancy car, or a new roof on your home, a secured loan may be the thing you need. A secured loan is a loan that has some kind of security against it. That means you have some asset that allows you to promise the lending institution some kind of guarantee. If you cannot make the payment, the lending institute may take your asset as an alternative form of repayment. Because this kind of loan is less risky than an unsecured loan, lending agencies are often far more flexible with you. Theyll give you more money at a better rate of interest and give you longer to pay it back!

Look around your life and determine what kind of assets you have that will allow you to get a loan. Do you a car? A house? Some stock market certificates? Some jewelry?? Whatever it might be, you may find a lending agency who is willing to work with you based on those assets as a guarantee for a secured loan.

So if youre looking to get something nice for yourself, like that boat or new car or new roof, you should consider getting a secured loan to help you. Many people are choosing to go that route because our world doesnt pay us what were worth! So instead of putting off your pleasure for later (and you know that it may never happen), go out and apply for a loan. There are many companies available online who are eager to do business with you today!

Best Condition Check-Up Of A Used Car: When Old Gets Better

April 27th, 2011

Today, buying a used car is as important as buying a new car. This is because the growing necessity and demand for cars is extremely important in an individuals everyday life, especially if the daily activities require a lot of commuting and traveling.

So, buying used cars can be very feasible especially to those who have limited budgets. Actually, buying a used car, say, 2 to 4-year old cars will definitely save an individual as much as 25% to 50% when compared to buying a new one.

But, used cars are not created equal or they are not being maintained on the same level. Hence, it is important to know the proper way to choose used cars and the details to look for when buying one.

With all the many tips that are being offered these days, checking the condition of the used car is the best tip ever.

Heres a list of the things to be checked before getting the car:

1. Exterior check

Buyers should check on the exterior portion of the car like the paint. Buyers should take note if there are any rusty places present on the exterior body.

Buyers should also make certain that the car is level when inspecting it. It should not sag to one side. If it does that is an indication of frame or spring damage. The tires should be well inflated and the lights should be in good condition.

Buyers should also check the other outer parts of the car like the disc brakes, the glass, the wheel rims, etc.

2. Interior check

It is best if the buyer inspects the interior portion of the car for things like its odor, the controls, the seats and the seat covers, and the pedal rubber. Everything should still be workable.

3. The air-conditioning unit of the car should be working well.

4. Trunk check

The trunk is the most neglected part of the car. Hence, it is important to know if the used cars trunk area is still in good condition. It should never show any sign of rust accumulation and water entry due to holes and cracks.

5. The under hood test

The buyer of the used car should be aware of the wirings, fluids, belts, hoses, battery, and radiator of his car-to-be. It should not show any signs of damage, rust, or dents.

Best of all, before an individual finally decides on buying a particular used car, it is best if he or she will do a test drive first. In fact, it is one of the most important check-up in order to ensure the efficiency of the used car.

Quick Camping Checklist

April 21st, 2011

Whether you’re a first time camper, or an experienced wilderness explorer, it is helpful to have a basic checklist of essential gear. Of course, don’t forget that you may need other equipment, based on the specifics of your trip.

Tent or shelter Most people will want to take a tent, but you can also use a tarp or other open shelter to keep the rain and dew off of you. If it will be cold, though, you’ll probably be thankful for the extra protection a tent offers. Don’t forget to bring a fly or tarp to keep rain out of your tent.

Groundcloth Bring a tarp or plastic keep moisture from seeping up through the tent floor, unless your tent has a built in groundcloth.

Sleeping Bag Check that your sleeping bag is rated appropriately for the weather you are going camping in. You don’t want to take a -30 rated sleeping bag on a summer camping trip, or vice versa.

Stove Unless you plan to cook over a campfire, you’ll need a camping stove and fuel. Of course, whether you use a stove or a fire, you’ll need matches or a lighter.

Food You don’t want to be without that!

Water Bring plenty of water. In some cases you’ll need to bring enough to extinguish your campfire.

Apparel You’ll want a coat or raincoat to protect yourself from the elements, depending on the weather. A hat is another essential. Other than that, the main rule of thumb is that it’s better to wear layers of clothing, so you can easily adjust for the temperature.

Pack If you’re hiking in to your camping spot, you’ll need a pack large enough to hold all of your gear. Otherwise, you’ll just need a day pack or fanny pack for day excursions.

Basic gear You should at least bring:
Knife or Multi-tool
Saw or axe
Rope
Compass and map
First aid kit
Snake bite kit

Keep in mind that this list is just a basic list you’ll find other items that you need as you start camping.

Choosing A Quality Online Florist

April 21st, 2011

The first thing to look at when choosing an online florist is whether or not the company is a real florist. There are actually many companies that claim to be but are not. Instead, these companies are resellers or affiliates. This means they just take your flower arrangement order and send it to a florist. As a result, your flower arrangement might not be the best quality. You will also probably spend more to send flower arrangements this way. This is because you are paying the commission for the reseller.

Choose Local

An online florist can have a flower shop anywhere in the world. For flower arrangements to stay fresh, they cannot travel great distances. Therefore, choose an online florist with a shop in the area where you plan to send flower arrangements. That way, your flower arrangement will be fresh when it gets to the person you are sending it to.

It is actually easier to choose a local florist than you might think. First, go to a search engine, such as Google. Then, type in “florist” and the name of the city where you wish to send flower arrangements. This will bring up many different florists for the area. Some will then allow you to complete your order online.

If you still aren’t sure about the florist, call. Ask the worker if they are a local business. Then, ask for directions to the shop. If the person is unable to give you directions, it’s a sure sign it isn’t really a local flower shop. You might also want to check with the Better Business Bureau to make sure the florist has a solid reputation.

Choose Secure

When shopping online for a beautiful flower arrangement, you also want to be sure you are safe. This means you should only order a flower arrangement from a florist with a secure server. A secure server guarantees no one will be able to steal your credit card information. To be sure the web site is secure, look for a small “lock” symbol on the computer screen. It is usually in the bottom left corner of the browser. Sometimes, it can be found in the top right corner instead. If you don’t see this symbol, don’t shop with that florist. Your personal information will be open for anyone to find and to read if you do.

Choose Honest

When choosing a florist, you also want to work only with one that is honest with its customers. For example, a florist who claims to offer free flower delivery or to be tax-free is not being honest. The flower delivery driver has to be paid somehow. At the same time, taxes have to be paid. You will pay for the flower delivery and taxes one way or another. Either the flowers will be more expensive or, worse yet, you might get a low quality flower arrangement. A good florist will have all of this information on the website. You should be able to easily find out how much delivery costs and how much tax you will pay.

Jelly Beans Are A Delicious Easter Treat

April 20th, 2011

Jelly beans are a favorite Easter treat among children and adults both. Who does not like their sweet candy coating and their chewy insides? You would have to be crazy not to! Jelly beans make a great addition to your candy bowl and your Easter basket. In fact, jelly beans are the good old standby that parents all around the world depend upon when they need to add just one more thing to their son or daughters Easter candy list.

Jelly beans come in all different colors. You will find red, orange, purple, pink and green and even white jelly beans just to name a few and they all have their own unique and exciting flavor. Everyone has their own personal favorite flavor and color, just ask your friends what there are and I bet they will be different than yours.

No one need grow out of eating jelly beans, they are a wonderful delicious little candy that everyone should be able to enjoy without any shame at all. Candy is one of the things that bring adults and children together and jelly beans are one of the top candies for this kind of bonding.

Every year there are more and more kinds of jelly beans on the market. There are even some jelly beans that are flavored to taste like things you would never want to put into your mouth. These are novelty candies that children enjoy not because they taste good but because they taste bad.

These kinds of jelly beans have really taken off since the first Harry Potter movie. After that movie came out there were some Harry Potter brand jelly beans made. These had flavors such as vomit and snot! Why would you want to eat these kinds of jelly beans? It is crazy but children certainly ate them up! http://www.youngwizardpro.com/potter

Give me the old fashioned colorful jelly beans and I am happy as are most people men, women and children alike. Jelly beans are a classic candy treat that you can give to your children and they can give to theirs, they are fantastic as long as you remember to brush your teeth after you eat them. All of that sugar can wreak havoc on your teeth if you are not careful.

Another concern to always remember at Easter time is that jelly beans are not for everyone. Those children who are still very young should not eat jelly beans as they could choke on them.

Court Jester Party Jokes – He Who Laughs Last

April 20th, 2011

A party is not a party without a jester in the midst and we all have one of those in the family so what we do now is to approach this person of hidden talent to entertain your guests at what ever the occasion may be or celebration. Feisty characters like the Court Jester from days gone by would entertain in the royal palace grounds or among the people on crowded streets

For any party to be a success there has to be fun and laughter and this can be achieved with the right person taking on the role as a modern day Court Jester at your party. Gags and jokes is the most popular of party pieces that are recited to fill the air with laughter – even game activities will excite all those who participate in the fun. When you have decided on who will entertain your guests then it would be wise to let them perform and steal the show in their own way because these types of people that act in a jesters way will always prove to be funny – no matter what they do.

Clowns are a great way to keep kiddies happy at a party and also at an adults gathering too. Never rule out the famous circus clown for getting laughs. Clowns are noted for fooling around and doing tricks.
A guaranteed way of getting laughs is always at some other persons expense – so unfortunately there has to be a victim so if you are planning to play a prank on someone then be sure will they take it all in good fun – if not avoid that person.

Jokesters who play tricks need to check with the host of the party and gather some information on what they think will go down well with the audience etc.
Fancy dress parties are a definite party success choice – because everyone loves dressing up and you can rest assured that the laughs will be ten a penny when each guest is greeted on arrival dressed as – The Hulk – Adam and Eve or the Court Jester.

If you are not sure what exactly it is you want then go online and surf the net for party ideas. Another way of spicing up the occasion is to have music – the likes of gimmick songs go down really well – where all the guests get a two in one package with this type of entertainment – for example, they get to enjoy themselves on top of reaching vocal heights where they now become the entertainer.

What of the court jester with all his silly antics who never got the chance to perform in front of royalty, well he was left to amuse the people on the street – so why not turn your party into a street celebration. The court jester entertained with song and dance routines while playing a musical instrument – juggling or doing acrobatics. The history of the jester turned minstrel still lives on – in our street buskers.

Remember with careful planning you can throw a party or ball fit for a queen and by getting it right – down to the last detail it is then you know you have succeeded.

The Dell Corporation – A Technician’s Review

April 20th, 2011

The Dell computer has become a fixture in enterprises all over the world. From the days when they were assembled in a university dorm room, to the mass production of today, Dell has been one of the most successful computer manufacturers.

I work as a computer technician in a big organization that supports almost 5000 end-users. Our daily tasks can become overwhelming at times. Especially when our network goes down or one of our servers dies.

One thing we do not have to worry about is hardware problems. Most of our PCs are from Dell, the newer ones being the Optiplex GX620. Whenever we have a hardware failure in a Dell machine, we simply log on to their website, submit a form, and the next day our part arrives. We can do all of our warranty replacements without even having to speak to a customer service representative on the phone.

Working in a corporate environment that requires near 100% uptime, brings the need for service like that of Dell. The less time we (technicians) can spend worrying about tracking a piece of hardware, in transit, the more we can focus on our job at hand. I guess I am biased, a little, because of the service that we do get from Dell. But there is nothing better to a technician than readily available hardware replacements.

We also deal once and a while with IBM (Lenovo). I cant say that I am as enthusiastic about their service. Every time we have to replace a part in an IBM machine, they feel the need to dispatch a technician. This is frustrating, after all, most of us are just as certified (or maybe even more so) than these technicians.

Regardless of who you and your company deal with, make sure that you when you bring a new vendor onboard, you take a good look at their support services. The better support you have the smoother the technicians job will be.

Rising Cases of Staph Infection in the US Schools

April 20th, 2011

Staph infections have forced some schools in the United States to temporarily end classes. According to officials from the one county in Southern Virginia, a total of twenty-one schools were closed down to prevent the spread of a dangerous bacterial infection that led to the death of a 17- year old high school student. The student died because of a drug-resistant staph infection known as Methicillin-resistant Stapphylococcus Aureus, or MRSA. The said infection is now a public health issue being discussed beyond South Virginia’s borders.

In this fast-paced culture where conventions are being broken and rules are relative and no longer absolute, it is important to be well-informed about the various aspects of life, most especially about the issue of sexuality. College And Post-Graduate Admission Test Scores And Admission Essays

April 19th, 2011

The rapid advancement in modern technology has led to stiffer competition in our lives, especially in the area of job opportunities. Many companies today are no longer satisfied with a college-degreed applicant. They also look for people who are computer literate and even holders of multiple degrees or specialized certifications. This is why college and post-graduate admissions is more competitive than ever. Getting into the school or program of your choice is itself highly challenging. Besides the routine standardized tests and GPA, you have a tool you can use to make yourself stand out from the rest of the pack. This is where an applicant’s college admission essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay, becomes important. A College Admission Essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay, is an essentially prosaic version of your personality profile. Often, this is the same area of concern discussed in job application exams.

Needless to say, a college degree in todays employment market is imperative. However, entry to many colleges and universities today have also risen to such competitive levels that admission to such requires extensive preparation, especially in taking the entrance exams, including the writing of an Admission Essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay.

While a significant part of the admission process to college and graduate schools are admission exams (of standardized tests such as the SAT, LSAT, MCAT, MBA), equally important are is the admission essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay. Many applicants, particularly those with high test scores often overlook the importance of this portion of the application process. Yet, this is actually the one part that could spell the difference between acceptance and rejection.

While test scores do play a most essential role, admissions officials recognize that it does not tell the complete story of a candidate’s life. With the tight competition in the quest for higher education, schools are now looking for people who not only perform well in entrance tests or achieve high grade point average, but they look for applicants who are interesting, diverse, and articulate as well. This will usually be reflected by a well-crafted Admission Essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay.

So how do admission officers determine who these applicants are? Answer: By analyzing an applicant’s college admission essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay.

The College Admission Essay, or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay is essentially the human side of a candidate’s test scores. Many school officials do not limit their knowledge of an applicant to his/her admissions test performance or GPA. They are also interested to know more about his ambitions, goals, preferences, interests, and backgrounds. They already have a measure of his intelligence. The next thing they want to gain is an insight into his persona. This is where the admission essay comes in.

When writing college admission essays or graduate school admission essays including MBA essays, it is important to keep in mind that what you are writing is about yourself. Focus then on giving a clear and definite description of who you are, but giving stress to your strengths rather than on your weaknesses.

Also, give explicit samples of what you are like: what you prefer to do on a lazy day, how you view the world, what things annoy you most. Cite a favorite book, movie or incident that helped you become the person that you are now. This can serve as your essay introduction, which, if written effectively, can grab an admissions officer’s attention. An eye-catching introduction will inspire them to read on. Remember, an admissions official probably may read hundreds, if not thousands of college admission essays. Make yours memorable and eye-catching from the get-go.

Write a positive and confident college admission essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay, as the case may be. Do not generalize, especially when listing down your accomplishments in school. Cite specific instances in your class which show you at your best, giving extra attention to subject areas considered as one of your fields of concentration. Preferably, the sample that should be given is one wherein you obtained an excellent grade, as this will reinforce the presumption that you excel in your chosen field of interest.

Additionally, your college admission essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay, should also include a listing of the extracurricular activities that you engaged in. Give detailed information and if possible, state a particular case where you were able to accomplish a goal or a project, either by yourself or as part of a group.

Of course, it goes without saying that the activities you will list down in your college
admission essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay, should be those that are directly related to the course you are presently seeking. For instance, a candidate wishing to gain access to medical school could cite his involvement as a volunteer in the relief mission for famine-torn Ethiopia in 1984. This will give more life to his resolve to acquire a medical degree. But if you have any other activities that present you in a positive personal light emphasize those also, such as volunteering at your church every Saturday to help with special-needs children. This humanizes you and shows that you are not just about grades or school.

Often, many applicants make the mistake of writing their college admission essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay, with a sweeping generalization of all their achievements in their respective fields, trusting that their excellent school records will breeze them through the admissions process. Unfortunately, such a scenario does not always come to pass. Nowadays, school administrators are more critical and scrutinizing. They want to look for something, more than just numbers. They also consider a person’s experiences, and not just general experiences, but actual and detailed accounts where an applicant was able to showcase his innate abilities in areas that are of special interest to him. This is perhaps one major reason there are instances of two candidates having similar entrance test scores as well as school grades but one of them does not get admitted to the same school that the two of them are applying to. Their respective admissions essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay may have determined their fates.

So if you are dreaming of entering Harvard or of getting admitted to Oxford, then make serious preparations. Check out their websites for details on their admission requirements, including possible topics for college admission essays. Get hold of your old books to review past lessons. And more importantly, take time to produce a well-written.

College Admission Essay or graduate school admission essay, including MBA essay.

How to Photograph Your Music Box

April 19th, 2011

Copyright 2006 Monique Hawkins

Many antique and music box lovers enjoy collecting musical jewelry boxes, carousel music boxes, wooden keepsake boxes, and other musical gifts. There are some music box and antique collectors who are interested in photographing their boxes. Reasons to take pictures include desiring to preserve details of musical pieces, which collectors have had, and as a way to exchange information with others who are interested. Also, if one has a very valuable and expensive collection, photographs might be needed for insurance purposes (think natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina). That said; let’s look into how to photograph a music box.

Since many cameras today are of very good quality and can do most of the work, collectors might think it is quite easy to take a photograph with little probability of making a mistake. The truth is, there is still some necessary steps to take to avoid mistakes. For example, one step to remember is to take picture in a bright and even natural light; flash can be used to “fill in” for a dark side.

If one desires a professional effect, music boxes can be set up on tables covered with a white or a neutral colored sheet that is draped over the table. One might also want to pin up the sheet on the wall behind the table, as this will remove extraneous details of objects behind the box. To illuminate the box, place a large sheet of white paper vertical on each side of the table a few feet from the box. Shining a bright light at the paper is what causes the music box to look illuminated.

It is also important to plan for your picture. Take a few pictures to see what they look like. Carefully frame the picture in the viewfinder and look at the corners to make sure you have what you want. Also, take your time and avoid a common mistake of not remembering where the center of the picture is.

For the music box and antique collector who take video pictures, avoid tinkling with the camcorder while the music box is playing. This can impact the recoding. Minimum movement and camera effect is necessary. Avoid a running commentary as well and don?t zoon in and out on every shot.

Follow these suggestions whether you have antique music boxes, inlaid music boxes, musical jewelry boxes, carousel music boxes, wooden keepsake boxes, or any other type of music box and be well on your way to creating some really great music box photographs.

Never Be Stuck For A Kids Birthday Party Theme Again!

April 19th, 2011

All parents know that their childrens birthday parties are incredibly important. Not just for the child, but for you too. Every parent tries to outdo each other and have the best party for their child. Unfortunately, all of this pressure often prevents the parents from giving their child the party they want or deserve. Trying to come up with a new and unusual theme can be very difficult and the child can feel that their wishes are not being taken into consideration at all.

But stop! It doesnt have to be like that! All children have something they love, be it a television show, a character or an object. For example, many children love Winnie the Pooh but for others it is trucks and wagons that excite them. Your child will tell you what they want for their party and it is almost certain that you can accommodate them easily.

The Internet has provided the world with ways of acquiring things they never thought possible. No longer do you have to rely on the local stores in your town. You can shop in the big cities without leaving the comfort of your home.

Once your theme has been chosen, you can search for online stores selling all manner of items which fit in that theme. One website I highly recommend for kids party items is Birthday Express, found at SuesPartySupplies.
Here you can shop by theme or browse a whole range of themes if you are sill unsure on what to base the party. Many of the themes have subgroups which enable you to purchase items featuring your childs favourite character and personalised for their age or the event you are celebrating.

On this site you can buy decorations for your home and tableware, all adorned with the character of your childs choice. For example, the Disney Princess range has goblets, plates, cutlery and wall banners and hangings, all featuring different princesses. There is eve the opportunity to buy a princess dress for your child, and this can be accessorised with a tiara and wand. There is even a piata to accompany the theme. The prices are reasonable and you can order online for delivery to your home. This allows you to throw your child a party they will not forget, as well as removing the stress of organising the smallest details from the parent.

10 Questions You Should Answer Before Building An Internet Business

April 19th, 2011

If you believe that the internet is still in its infancy, then you have to be aware that the infancy is almost over. The internet gains its maturity faster. Everybody wants to take advantage of the internet must treat it as if it a mature entity. Youve got to be serious about using internet as your business vehicle.

If you still think that you can easily make fortune out of the internet, then you may miss the big picture of it unless you are aware of the things you should ask yourself and give your answer before you build your internet business.

You should understand that building an internet business is different from making money from the internet. You can make more money from the internet without building any business.

While building an internet business may ‘cost’ you big investment, making money from the internet may cost you nothing or less. But here’s the interesting part. Making money from the internet needs you stick to the internet all the time. Simply put, the money stops coming in when you stop your internet activity. On the other hand, if you do it correctly, the internet business you’re building will make money for you even while you’re sleeping or away in vacation.

So, to do it correctly, you should ask yourself these questions before building any internet business:

1. Do you have a vision?
What is your business vision? You should have it clear in your mind what your business be in the next 5 years, 10 years, or 20 years.

2. Do you recognize your business strength?
What is your business strength? This will affect the whole concept and strategies of your business. If you think that you don’t have that strength, then you must make an exercise to find that strength!

3. Do you set your business goals?

Ignoring Negative Criticism

April 18th, 2011

In his book, How to Win Friends and Influence People, Dave Carnegie said that humans hate negative criticism.

At that time, I thought it was just emotional stuffs.

However, negative criticism does not only hurt emotionally but can also hurt your interests realistically.

Most of negative criticisms are not true. Even if its true, its not worth paying attention to.

John Maxwell said that we should spend at least 70% of our time on our strengths and only 5% on our weaknesses. Negative criticism puts too much of our attention on what were weak at.

If somebody tells David Beckham, a great soccer player, that hes such an idiot because he cant play golf, do you think David should pay attention to that and learn golf instead?

We probably cannot improve too much the points that were weak at anyway. Moreover, by allocating resources to improve our weakness were taking away resources that could have gone to improve our strength.

However, the world is full with so many people that would rain down negative criticism to their neighbors.

These acts are often justified by strange fairy tales. For example, the purpose of school is to create a whole well-balanced new human being.

Implicit in the idea of whole and balanced is, of course, the idea you should improve your weakness.

If it doesnt serve you to listen or pay attention to negative criticism, why are people uttering it?

Envy.

Many people, out of envy bigotry do not want you to be successful. They want to stop you from being successful.

Imagine if a male makes a lot of money and attracts many females, the other males will not get any and would go extinct, right? Hence, so many males have strong preferences to prevent you from getting rich.

They come up with various ways to trick or force you from the one all right path you have chosen to success.
One way to do it is through frivolous negative criticism.

Ignoring criticism will not become a straightforward silver bullet. However, it would work quite well and a good advice enough for an article.
