Concept of MP3 encoding technology

July 31st, 2011

Mp3 is really a cool stuff for music lovers who enjoy and appreciate quality music. It also provides the consumer with the convenience of purchasing the music online and ripping from purchased CDs and is also easily portable.

The popularity of Mp3 format for digital music files has exploded within the past few years whereby you can download Mp3 files from peer to peer file sharing websites and commercial Mp3 download websites and can easily play on their portable or software based Mp3 players. You can easily email your favorite music songs to your friends and relatives. These Mp3 websites supply a wide variety of Mp3 tools such as Mp3 players, music file conversion software and Mp3 downloads that enables you to hear your favorite Mp3 anywhere in the car, office or even on the beach.

If you have a huge collection of your favorite songs that you want to listen in your car audio system but you are confused as how so many files could be stored onto your 800 Mb CD? Mp3 encoder or converter is the solution to this. An Mp3 encoder is the software that uses Mp3 codec (compression and decompression algorithm) to make MP3 files. Most of the encoders convert WAV file to Mp3 format whereas many can convert other formats such as WMA to Mp3.

Mp3 stands for MPEG Audio Layer 3 where at layer 3, psychoacoustics principles are applied so as to find and remove unnecessary sound data.such as the stuff human ears dont hear anyway (sounds above 16 KHZ) and leaving only crucial data.

After the essential data is separated from the redundant data, compression takes place and at this stage, the same amount of data is stored using fewer bits and less space of the disk. Here, the bit rate is the ratio of number of bits transferred between two devices per second and the higher the bit rate ratio, the higher is the sound quality and vice versa. 192 Kb/s is the frequently used bit rate used in peer to peer networks and most of the converters use variable bit rates. This enables to get better quality of sound because bit rate conforms to the dynamics of audio frames stored and this in turn keeps more important data.

There are number of mp3 encoders and software available today such as Lame, Fraunhofer, Music match jukebox, real jukebox , Blade, Audio catalyst, GoGo etc. The use of mp3 encoding engine depends upon your personal requirements and preferences.

Give Me Some of those Holiday Homecoming Blues

July 31st, 2011

With the drop in temperature comes a certain dawning, the formation of a certain mood. Most people tend to associate the Holidays with drops in temperature and colder weather, but this is the general comfortable cold and not the frigid chill of deep winter. It is also during these days that normally sane and stable people can end up going into a bit of a panic, with all the last-minute shopping and the I can’t think of a gift relatives. For the most part, all this stress and borderline insanity is pretty much worth it once the dust settles. The Holidays, with all the reunions and homecomings that come with them, can be a source of some truly unexpected amounts of stress and anxiety, usually from the same general sources.

Accounting Software Which One Should You Choose

July 31st, 2011

Who hasnt heard of accounting? I guess, nobody. This is the part any normal, functioning business should have to deal with the companys money and investments. Its history goes back to ancient Greece, where a primitive type of accountants existed. Accountings modern history dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, when the big companies emerged. Initially, and by initially I mean up to twenty years ago, the entire process was done by hand and pencil. This changed with the emerging of personal computers. They changed the way people looked at accounting and accounts. But as the PCs evolved so did the accounting software. I will try to help you in your search for the best accounting software, by noting a few sites and a small review of their software.

www.accsoft-ch.com/ Account Pro

It is multilingual, multicurrency and can be linked on up to three computers. It can work with projects and cost centers and the discount and tax transactions can be done automatically. Another plus is that it can work with both the British and American type of accounting.

www.clarisys.ca/ Executive

Business requiring sophisticated accounting will benefit the most from Executive. Three types of invoices, multiple bank account capabilities and multicurrency system are just a few of the features the programmers developed for Executive. Eve though initial Executive can be used on one computer only, it can be upgrade to an unlimited number of users. Other features include: up to 5 currencies simultaneously and unlimited number of budgets. Accounting 2006

The latest accounting software from the giant Microsoft has quite a few pluses, such as a competitive price, it is easy to use and learn, well built accounting tools for small business and goes perfectly with the Microsoft Office suite. Unfortunately it depends a little too much on the Office suite, making it inaccessible to people who use other productivity suites.

How To Buy A Plasma Or LCD TV In 3 Easy Steps

July 31st, 2011

You know what? Buying a TV isn’t the same old process that it used to be. Long gone are the days when you could walk into Sears with your wife, pick your favorite CRT television and be on your merry way. Nope. Thing are much much better now! A side consequence of the information revolution is that the free flow of information gives the consumer a definite advantage over the dealer. No matter what claim is made about the ‘incredible deal’ you are about to receive on your new plasma or lcd television set, the information is easily verifiable with a few simple Google searches or mouse clicks.

Lets take a quick look at some of ideas you can use to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck in your new television selection.

a) Take your time. Just because a LCD TV is on sale, it doesn’t mean that the TV is going to go away forever. There are tons of different resources out there for you to peruse before investing several thousand dollars in a brand new big screen television set. ConsumerReports.org is one of them that I use frequently. There are a ton of others.

b) Compare offline closeout sales with the deals you can find online. Big Box retailers can sometimes offer incredible discounts to what you see online. We’ve found that the best strategy is to straddle both the online and the offiline world. Make sure what you are doing is maximizing your bang for your buck.

c) Don’t be afraid of non name brand merchandise. Well, lets put a caveat on that. Make sure the model you buy is from a somewhat decent manufacturer but the manufacturer doesn’t have to be a world famous one. Sometimes what you are paying for is a high ticket brand name and not a great product. A new plasma tv by a not so well known manufacturer might be just as good as a new name brand one.

There are hundreds of other tips to buying the LCD or Plasma TV of your choice and these are just the tip of the iceburg. In fact, some of the best kept secrets to buying a big screen tv make these items seem insignificant in comparison. Learn them all and get the best deal possible.

Increasing Popularity Of Medical Coding

July 31st, 2011

Medical Coding is also known as insurance coding and involves assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures, enabling financial reimbursements from insurance companies, government agencies, software companies, and consulting firms. This technique helps in identifying the claims and displays the entire history of the patient and the services performed. Demand for medical coding is rapidly increasing with the evolution of new vistas in the realm of diagnostics and treatment. Medical coding is also outsourced to other countries that offer cheap labor and flexible work hours.

Medical Coding: Benefits

Medical coders are professionals who convert the physicians note into codes using specialized software, which are utilized by the insurance providers to compensate the health care provider. To correctly file a claim for each third party payer, the coder has to choose combinations of different standard coding systems. This specialized service helps avoiding frauds and helps organizations to reduce their administrative costs and time overruns.

Medical Coding: Scope and Programs

Healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries globally, and hence, skills of a certified coder are in great demand. There are ample employment opportunities for such certified coders in hospitals and clinics across the country.

The American Health Information Management Association offers certification in this field. Besides, there are several medical coding schools, training centers, and institutes offering certification in medical coding. They also offer training programs online.

Certified Medical Coding Specialist Certification is an internationally recognized certification offering a number of programs designed get students exposure to medical terminology, coding protocols, patient charts, and physiology and medical/human anatomy. The diagnosis is identified and then converted into numerical codes, which are electronically processed for payment by third party payers such as insurance companies, Medicare companies, and government agencies etc. The training program also covers both type of code sets that is diagnostic codes and procedural codes.

The eligibility criterion to enroll into such a certification course is a Bachelors degree, preferably in human sciences or pharmacy. The selection is usually through a written test, followed by an interview. This course prepares the student in a fast track methodology including Current Procedural Terminology and International Classification of Diseases. The training period varies from institute to institute, but generally it does not extend beyond six months. The students are awarded Certificate of Completion upon successfully passing the Final Examination with an 80% or better score. Some institutes also get their students suitable placements after they complete the course successfully.

5 Reasons to Learn Music Theory

July 31st, 2011

If you thought music theory was a waste of time and not necessary to further your musical goals, then read these following 5 reasons why this is not true.

1.Read sheet music: Being able to play from any piece of sheet music. Well it may be hard to play BUT you can read it!

2.Be able to transpose: Say you are playing a piece from the sheet music you can now read but you think it sounds too high or too low, or just not right. Well now you can move it into a new key and play at a better singing.

3.Be able to modulate: You will be able to, with a few quick moves of the fingers, move your music into a new key with a succession of notes so pleasing to the ear it will bring a smile to your listeners faces.

4.It will increase your skill in improvising: Enough said.

5.Knowing music theory will help you recreate the sounds you enjoy in your favorite songs. Those fabulous chord progressions. The parts that give a song that certain sound. Gospel, Contemporary etc.

To learn music theory you dont have to become a scholar on the subject. Just at least learn the basics. Getting a good music theory book and spending a few minutes a day reading from it and doing any included exercises can jump start your music playing.

Car Rentals The Skinny

July 31st, 2011

If you are like me, you do not like to travel to most cities and be dependent on the local taxi or transit systems. I want to be able to go where I want when I want to. More importantly, I want to be able to leave when I want to. Welcome to the world of car rentals.

This is not going to be a commercial for any particular car rental company as I have no allegiance to any of them. This is going to be about the dos and donts of renting a car.

First off, I never wait until I get to a city to rent a car. I get online and make reservations before hand. And I do not go to the individual car rental companies; I go to places like Travelocity, Xpedia or Orbitz to check pricing and make reservations. These outlets save a lot of time and the rental costs are extremely competitive. In fact, you will find deals on free upgrades and price breaks on different styles of cars. Here is where I make my reservation. It costs me nothing; and if, for some reason I change my mind about the rental, I am not liable for any charges. Perfect for the person whose whims guide him or her.

Flash forward to the car rental depot. Be prepared to show your valid drivers license and a valid credit card (MC or Visa) as it is mandatory. Next, they are going to present you with all kinds of different options. Listen to them and affirm or deny each dependent on your current needs. The one option I always deny is the insurance. It is expensive, and both my automobile insurance company and my credit card company provide this auxillary coverage.

Once you get out to the car, check for damages, scratches, or anything that they could bill you for later. Make notes on their pre-damage check list for your protection. Check the fuel level and all of the gauges on the dash to ensure all is okay. Next, check the air, the windows and even the radio if you are dependent on niceties.

Have fun on your stay. Only two things to do on your return. First, make sure you top off your fuel within 10-15 miles of the drop-off point so you pay no costly fuel surcharges. Second and most important, make sure you get everything out of the car that is yours.

Selling Your Property On The Internet

July 31st, 2011

Should you sell your property on the internet? This is a common question with an equally common answer YOU MUST!

Selling Your Property On The Internet

For those looking to sell a property themselves, many ask themselves whether or not they should sell on the internet. Well, the simple answer is, if you dont list it on the internet then you are only hurting yourself. Just like magazines and newspapers, the internet provides a great source for homeowners to draw attention to the property that they have for sale. In fact, the internet is now the dominate media where homebuyers look for properties with over 70 percent reporting as much.

What is more is that the internet is an incredibly easy place to list a property. The typical process involves opening an account, uploading as much description as possible and uploading photographs. Much like a dating site, the more information and photographs you post, the quicker your property will attract interest from potential buyers. This is the digital equivalent of curb appeal.

There are a number of sites you can use to list your property for sale on the Internet. All basically offer the same listing characteristics, but pricing is radically different. Some sites, such as ours mentioned below, offer a free first month listing. Others try to get you to commit to a flat fee for a year with prices as high as $750. There are plenty of others as well that offer prices ranging between these two extremes.

In general, you do not want to commit to the flat fee for a year listing. Although the real estate market has cooled, it is still roaring hot from a historical perspective. Practically speaking, property may not sell in a week any more, but it does sell in the first 90 days if appropriately priced and so on. Given this fact, it makes little sense to commit to a year listing.

Regardless of the approach you take, the web has radically changed the game in real estate. Online sites offer greater access to the pool of buyers and, in many cases, make the need for real estate agents a superfluous one.

Cheap Ghost Writing Isn’t Easy — But It’s Worthwhile!

July 31st, 2011

You might think that selling yourself short is a sure way to not be a success in the ghost writing field. And your eyes are probably dancing with the large sums of money that youve heard ghost writers pull down, in yearly figures such as $60,000 to $100,000, or amounts such as $15,000 to $60,000 per each book written. Youre a writer, you love to write, and you believe that this is the way to go when it comes to writing.

This is especially so when youve started to break into the field and youre a ghost writer — or ghostwriter — who has never really ghosted a book for someone else before. Youre probably thinking big bucks, major book contracts, large amounts of cash advances from publishers and huge percentages from the books you will be anonymously writing for big time authors.

But lets face some facts. First time authors are often people with no real money or skills to invest in writing a book. They may have fantastic stories to tell, but they dont have the enormous amount of financial capital available to hire any such expensive ghost writers. Theyre bound to enter some psychological difficulties when they see that the payments to you are the whopper figures such as those listed above, and that those are the only sorts of prices accessible to them. By laying out such enormous fees, you could be stuck losing a huge customer base of clients with fantastic stories to tell — but without the major wherewithal to pay you to tell them. What if, say, your potential author, the person hiring you to write his or her story, has only $5000 or less to spend?

I know what Im talking about, and I can create a decent, well-written work of cheap ghost writing in a month or so for around that amount of money. You do that, and theres your $60,000 per year! It really isnt all that hard. You don’t even have to charge as high as $5000 per book.

Most other ghost writers I know are only as capable I am, but many of them do charge the higher amounts. The clients of the high end ghost writers tend to be people with enormous sales potential, not the typical first time authors who have a great story but often dont really go anywhere with it the so called sucker market.

It might be worthwhile to consider charging less, or negotiating a deal with such a first timer. Over the years, I have drawn the conclusion that there are an awful lot of such people out there. I have been ghost writing books for people for as low an amount as $2000 per book, and as I have sources of income from other types of writing, I have been finding an immense amount of personal satisfaction from helping such would be authors actually obtain what they are looking for in a “cheap ghost writer” who charges a reasonable price for the quality and quantity of work done for them. I simply ask for installment payments, usually made in advance, and sometimes I also ask for a percentage of the net book sales.

This works out to be less greedy on my part and more of a service that I provide for authors who are simply yearning to get their books up high on the top of the New York Times Bestseller lists, and who know that such are their dreams, not necessarily their realities. These are often people who have reached the ends of their ropes when it comes to negotiating a lower price for their books. They usually have nowhere else to turn when it comes to putting out their own personal stories, and they need someone with a willing ear and pen to listen and help them set down their tales before its too late for them to be told. And there is still hope for these people to even hit the big time, if they have the right types of stories to tell.

Also, some of these authors simply dont know what theyre doing and need a guiding hand to help them. They need their letters of query written up for them, their brief biographies put together, and their book proposals prepared for them, as they are dipping their toes into the writing field and getting them wet for the first time. A lot of them think they are going to get their book written and then get some kind of major advance, straight from a publisher.

It just isn’t like that 90% of the time. An advance comes after a deal has been negotiated with a reputable literary agent, bids by publishers for the book have been scrutinized, and contracts have been signed. It helps in a major way to have the book in hand, sometimes even having it self published first, to get anywhere near a commercial publisher. This can be a very expensive process for a first time, would be author.

People like that dont need to face down what looks like to them to be a million dollar price tag when they are looking for whats described as a cheap ghost writer. They want an actual inexpensive ghost writer who understands their needs, both budgetary and otherwise, who can sit down with them and negotiate a fairly low amount of money paid out by them so they can figure on at least getting some return from their books. These people are not Presidents of the United States or famous movie actors, whose books are guaranteed to sell, and many of them find themselves stuck with what used to be called vanity publishing, nowadays called self publishing. They wont necessarily find a commercial publisher who wants to take a chance on huge returns from their books in todays multifaceted but still challenging world of publishing.

These clients need literally cheap or inexpensive ghost writers. They dont need to spend a small fortune on their books to find out they all dead ended in a warehouse, didnt sell as widely as they thought they would, or they otherwise came out on the short end of the stick. They need to carefully invest their time and effort on a decent, expert ghost writer. And they could use some material publishing help to get their books “out there” — properly displayed and promoted in today’s modern Internet oriented book market.

Help them. Consider bargaining and bartering at a lower price sometimes, and not at a higher price. It might be worth your while. Try it and see!

What’s Your Passion?

July 31st, 2011

Okay, you’ve decided you want to make money with Affiliate Marketing. So, you join some affiliate programs and start submitting free ads to newsletters and free advertising classifieds sites. You’re going to make BIG money now — right?

Nope! Sorry! Just sending out a few ads is not going to do it. Not if you want to be a real success.

You must first determine your passion. I mean other than making the money! What is your hobby? What do you know how to do REALLY well? What is your job? Everyone has something that is their own special talent. Find yours.

You probably have more than one thing that you are very interested in and do well. See if you can find five (ten if you’re really ambitious). Write them down in a list. Remember, you are going to be spending a lot of time working with this subject. Make sure you enjoy it!

Go down each item on your list. Start writing a rough outline of everything you know about the topic. It doesn’t have to be elaborate. This is just to give you an idea of how much information is available for a given subject.

Try mind mapping. Write down the main subject of your idea. Draw a circle around it. Now, start thinking of sub-categories that are related to your main category. Draw a line from your main category and end it with a circle. Put the sub-category title inside this circle. Find as many sub-categories (and sub-sub-categories) as you can.

Go through each of your interests with this procedure. Choose the one that you know the most about and that you can write about comfortably.
What if you “think” you don’t know enough about your topic? Then, do some research. Read books and magazines. Do some searches on the Internet. Who knows? You might find an area, a niche, that is just waiting for you to fill it with useful information.

There’s a lot more to affiliate marketing, of course. But the first step is to find your passion. Your “passion” doesn’t have to be making money on the Internet. It can be cooking, sewing, billiards, or whatever. In fact, it’s better if you find a niche that isn’t in the online marketing arena because that’s what nearly everyone else is doing.

Make your topic unique. Make it yours. And make it your passion. It will pay you well.

Get Ready for Summer Driving

July 31st, 2011

The busy summer driving season is coming. Will your vehicle be ready?

The experts at the nonprofit National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) offer the following tips on getting your vehicle ready.

* Read the owner’s manual and follow the recommended service schedules.

* If you are not a do-it-yourselfer, look for an orderly repair facility with modern equipment in the service bays. Also, look for evidence of qualified automotive technicians, such as trade-school diplomas, certificates of advanced course work and training, as well as national certification of the individual technicians by ASE.

* Flush and refill the cooling system according to the service manual’s recommendations. The level, condition and concentration of the coolant should be checked periodically. Make sure the engine has cooled down before removing the radiator cap.

* Have engine performance problems — hard starts, rough idling, stalling — corrected. You’ll get better gasoline mileage and could prevent more expensive repairs.

* Have a qualified auto technician check the tightness and condition of belts, clamps and hoses. You should stay on the lookout for signs of wear, cracking or fraying.

* Likewise, have a faulty air-conditioner system serviced by a technician qualified to handle refrigerants. Older units often contain ozone-depleting chemicals that could be released into the air through improper or incompetent service.

* Change the oil and oil filter as specified in the owner’s manual. This simple service alone can increase the life of your vehicle. Replace other filters as recommended in the service manual.

* Check the condition of tires, including the spare. Let the tires “cool down” before checking their pressure. Uneven wear, “cupping,” vibrations or pulling to one side indicate problems with your tires or suspension system.

* Don’t neglect your transmission. Costly repairs can be prevented by routine service.

* Inspect all lights and bulbs; replace burned-out bulbs.

* Replace worn wiper blades and keep plenty of washer solvent on hand to fight summer’s dust and insects.

ASE was founded in 1972 to improve the quality of automotive service and repair through the voluntary testing and certification of automotive technicians. ASE-certified technicians wear blue-and-white ASE shoulder insignia and carry credentials listing their exact areas of certification. Their employers often display the ASE sign.

The Inside Scoop on Ghost Writing and Copyright

July 30th, 2011

Copyright 2006 Julie Ann Amos

Ghost writing sounds like cheating, but it isnt. Hiring a ghostwriter for a book, speech or article is common practice and very acceptable; in fact, some experts say that up to 40% of all published books are ghostwritten. It may not be acknowledged as such, but ghostwriting is a standard practice for all sorts of writing. Its really nothing more than freelance writing, a career at which many good writers excel.

For simplicity, the remainder of this article will refer to ghostwriting a book – but remember it’s not just about books. Just about anything that you need written can be ghostwritten. We ghost write a great deal of magazine articles, ezine content, newsletters, and website and internet articles – all of which the client is free to publish under their own name.

WHAT IS GHOSTWRITING?

Ghostwriting (sometimes written as ghost writing) is when a freelance writer is hired to write a book (or another project) for someone else and upon completion that other person gets credit as the author. While this sounds like cheating, it really isnt because the ghost writer often (but not always) works with the author and uses the authors own ideas and story.

Most of the time, for a large project such as a book, the ghostwriter will conduct a series of interviews with the author, which are recorded and transcribed. Depending on the type and size of the book to be written, these interviews may take place over the course of a few hours, a few days or a few weeks.

The ghostwriter then uses this information to write the book, conferring periodically throughout the writing process. Once the book or article is complete it becomes the property of the author and they own the copyright on the work. For short articles, we very often work to write projects with nothing more than titles to go on as a direction, and ghost write the entire thing with little or no reference to the client. It simply depends on how you want to work and how much input you want to have.

WHY HIRE A GHOSTWRITER?

You may have any number of reasons for hiring a ghost writer. Perhaps you dont have the expertise to write a book, or maybe you dont have the discipline it takes to work consistently and regularly on the project. Another common reason might be that you simply dont have the knowledge and experience that it takes to structure a book so that its interesting and readable.

By far the most common reason for hiring a ghostwriter is that you just dont have the time it takes to write. Its not at all unusual to work 10, 11 or 12 hours a day at your regular job, which leaves very little time for you to spend on a writing project. Yet you still have the idea and the inspiration to capture something of yourself in written form, so you start looking for ways to make it happen.

WHAT KINDS OF BOOKS DO GHOSTWRITERS WRITE?

You might be surprised at just how many different kinds of books can be ghostwritten. A few examples include:

Autobiographies and biographies Stories of inspiration or accomplishment Self-help and personal development Business and entrepreneurial advice Spiritual growth Extraordinary stories of overcoming adversity or illness How-to or instructional information History and famous events Memoirs Current events Novels and all forms of fiction

WHAT ABOUT COPYRIGHT AND ROYALTIES?

Understanding copyright issues is pretty easy when it comes to ghostwriting. Put simply, the ghostwriter agrees that the author owns the copyright (sometimes misspelled as copywright or copywrite) to the finished work, regardless of whether or not the ghost writer is acknowledged in the publication.

As far as royalties are concerned, these too are assigned to the client/author rather than the freelancer. Sometimes a freelance writer may be willing to negotiate a lower fee in exchange for a portion of the book royalties or even some form of acknowledgement on the book cover, but this is not always the most beneficial arrangement for the author or the freelancer.

HOW DO I FIND AN EXCEPTIONAL GHOSTWRITER?

A lot of people claim to be experienced ghostwriters, but very few of them are actually skilled in this type of writing. It takes an exceptional writer to successfully ghost write a book, but there are other important skills as well.

Your ghostwriter must have strong interviewing skills in order to effectively draw out your ideas and story concepts. He or she must understand how to structure a book so that it keeps the reader interested and engaged, and be able to write in a style that captures your personality rather than their own. You also must find someone who is unbiased and can be trusted to maintain confidentiality no matter what.

At Exquisitewriting we have access to ghostwriters literally from across the world, all of which have outstanding skills. Whatever your needs may be, we can help by matching you with one of our professional writers who will make your project shine.

HOW MUCH DOES A GHOSTWRITER COST?

The cost of hiring a ghostwriter will vary depending on the scope of your project and the experience of the freelance writer. As with most things, youll get what you pay for in the long run. Remember that your book reflects you and you want your readers to connect with the real you. The only way to do this is by investing in a professional ghostwriter who will work closely with you until the end product is exactly the way you want it.

Fulvic Acid – Discover the Key to Staying Younger, Healthier, and More Energized

July 30th, 2011

Please read on to discover how you can instantly boost your health and vitality as a result of the most astounding experiment in medical history.
Dr. Alexis Carrell, a Nobel Prize winner, researched experimental surgery, did ground-breaking work with human blood vessels, and was a pioneer of organ transplants.

Dr. Carrell took cells from the heart of a dead chicken. He put them in a solution of minerals and nutrients. He kept these cells alive for 28 years. They remained amazingly healthy. And they never aged, never got sick, and didn’t die!

In the conclusion of the experiment Dr.Carrell stated, “Renew this fluid at intervals, give the cells what they require for nutrition and, as far as we know, the pulsation of life may go on forever.”
All you need to do is two things, renew the fluid and give the cells what they need for nutrition.

You see, as you age your cells aren’t able to dispose of their wastes as well as when you were young. Natural acid salts build up in the walls of your cells, and they get stiffer and thicker.
Because the cell walls get thicker they cannot let as much vital nutrients and oxygen into your cells.

It’s also essential to wash away the waste and toxins your cells produce. That’s because the day Dr. Carrell stopped changing the solution and giving nutrients the cells died.

You must flush away wastes before they eat into the cells of your veins, arteries, and heart weakening and aging you.

The most dangerous wastes that are building up in your system now are acid wastes. I am almost 100% certain that you are building up a dangerous acid overload right now in your heart and veins.

How can I be so sure? Because it’s caused by the modern American diet. Please note, the acid I am warning you about is not stomach acid. The acid produced by a modern diet is flowing through your fluids and tissues all through your body.

There are two ways to fight acid overload.

#1. Make your diet almost 100% fruits and vegetables, which create alkaline in your body that neutralizes the acid wastes.
There are good acids in your body, and bad acids. Stomach acid is a good acid, as long as there is not too much of it, and it stays where it belongs in your stomach.

Another good acid is Folic Acid. It is a B vitamin and is used in your body to make new cells.

# 2. Flood your body with Fulvic Acid. You may not have heard of it yet. But it’s being used around the world in healing and treatment of disease.
If you are fatigued, it’s because your body is being flooded by toxins that have built up over the years. You need to get the nutrients and oxygen back into your stressed out cells so they can breathe again — you will instantly gain new energy.

Fulvic acid will flood nutrients into your cells, and flush away toxins and bad acid wastes. You will start enjoying light, refreshing new energy within minutes. Here are some of the benefits of taking fulvic acid.

– Beat the “always tired” draggy feeling
– Instantly energize your entire body
– Have new pep and drive to do more of the things you want to do
– Gain more stamina
– Look, feel, and act younger

Shaking the Blues of Depression

July 30th, 2011

uppose you are feeling lonely. You notice you do not have an intimate relationship, and that makes you feel lonely. But is it the absence of the relationship that makes you feel lonely? Or do you feel lonely when you pay extra attention to the fact that you do not have the relationship you desire. When you are engrossed in a really good movie or a compelling book, you completely forget that you are lonely. But if you stick your head up and notice you are all alone, or if you notice a happy couple and it is the opposite of your own situation, then your loneliness quickly returns and you feel depressed. The word ‘depressed’ is a very common, everyday word. Almost all of us feel depressed. The ups and downs of life are common and normal and most people can recover quite quickly in dealing with depression…but some are not as fortunate.

De-Stress Yourself With Oxygen, Water And Sunlight!

July 30th, 2011

Oxygen, water and sunlight are the most basic life giving elements on this earth. Without them we have no existence here, but our current lifestyles being so hectic, we seem to take it all for granted and not much thought goes into the fact that we need these elements daily to survive properly.

Our bodies are 70% water and we extract water from what we eat and drink. No doubt youve heard that you should drink eight glasses of water per day. This is true although some people may need even more than that. Water is what hydrates you. Drinks like coffee, sodas and alcohol will dehydrate you. Not to say that you should never drink them, but if you do, then drink extra water to make up for it.

How do you know if you are dehydrated? Here are some tips:

1) If you push your finger down on your skin and it does not pop back up immediately but feels a bit mushy and comes back slower, then you are dehydrated.

2) If your urine is dark yellow and has an odor, then you are dehydrated. Urine should be fairly clear and odor free. Note: there are foods such as asparagus or b-vitamins that will give your urine a dark color but that is natural and nothing to worry about.

3) If you are fatigued, your skin is flushed or your lips or mouth is dry then you may be dehydrated.

Sunlight is another element that we need to survive. We get lots of warnings that we need to protect ourselves from the sun and to use sunscreen and stay indoors as much as possible. There is some merit to that, but we get vitamin D directly from the sun and you only need about 15 to 20 minutes to get that. Plus if you are like me, a few days of non-stop rain can be very depressing. As soon as the sun comes up, my spirits rise dramatically. Enjoying the sunshine can give you that boost, lift your spirits and make you feel better. Relaxing in the sun, a great way to de-stress.

Oxygen! Getting enough is vital, but alas, we have become shallow breathers and many more of us than you realize dont get enough oxygen. How, you say?

Well, just look at the couch potato watching TV all day, or people that have machines that do most of the work for us. How often have you seen lawn maintenance personnel sitting on a lawn mower cutting the grass? We used to get out and push. It was a huff and puff job but you certainly would be breathing hard afterwards.

Kids used to walk to school, now they take buses or get driven to school. How many of us sit in an office all day working at our computers. Then we go out for a sit down lunch, work some more and get home and relax in front of the TV for the rest of the night trying to unwind from the mental stress of the day. Sleep and do the same routine the next day and the next day and so on. When Do We Really Move Our Bodies?

There are a certain percentage of people that will go to the gym regularly or do cardio workouts and then you have people who dance etc. For those of you already doing that, my hats off to you.

We need oxygen for all the cells in our bodies to be healthy. The best way to do that is to move our bodies around and breath deeply. Most exercise classes will get you there. It does not matter if you do weights, yoga, running or walking. Get yourself moving and breathing.

You can also do breathing exercises while sitting or lying down. Get yourself comfortable and slowly breath in through your nose and then slowly release from your mouth. Do this several times. Take a break for a few minutes and do it again several more times. I did this while I was on an airplane and was amazed at how much better I felt. Ive done this ever since. It works great!

In short, drink water, breath deeply and get some sun (in moderation)! Youll feel better!

The Great Underground Disorder

July 30th, 2011

Many of us take a good nights sleep for granted. We sleep peacefully through the night blissfully unaware that up to 10% of the adult population has their sleep disrupted by repeated episodes of upper airway collapse, otherwise known as obstructive sleep apnea or OSA.

It is estimated that over 20 million people in the US alone suffer from OSA and worse still, up to 90% of those are undiagnosed. If you, a friend or family member has been diagnosed with OSA, you are not alone, However, you are well on your way to leading a better lifestyle.

Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is the most common and effective treatment for OSA. It involves applying a gentle air pressure to the airway through either the nose, mouth.or both the nose and mouth. This pressure keeps the upper airway continuously open allowing the user to breathe while sleeping, and in doing so provides a good nights sleep. This therapy has been used to treat OSA sufferers successfully for over 20 years!

The Vigor8 Lifestyle Program, brought to you by Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, is a helpful educational resource and web-tool for those who live with OSA and those who support and care for them. www.vigor8.com is the home of a comprehensive collection of support materials and tools for living and sleeping well. Computer Printers – Cut Your Costs

July 30th, 2011

When you buy a new computer it almost always comes with a free printer. The free printer is almost always an inkjet model. The printer manufacturer gives these to the computer manufacturer for a knock down price as a loss leader. What most people never consider is the cost of replacing the inkjet cartridges in a few weeks time, and on a monthly basis after that.

The actual laser printer has now fallen to a price where it is comparable to an inkjet printer, even for home use. Many families have 2 printers, an inkjet, for color work, and a laser as the default printer.

Even if you have to pay for a laser printer its running costs will work out a lot less than the free inkjet. Once people take the cost of ink into account a monotone laser printer is only about a third the annual costs of an inkjet. The best thing you can do is to set up your laser printer and the free inkjet. Make sure the laser machine is set as the default printer. Unplug the inkjet to prevent it being used unnecessarily.

What about refilling the inkjet cartridges? Forget it, the quality of the refilled is just unacceptable.

Remanufactured laser cartridges are worth considering, especially for every day and internal use like as an Internet printer. Laser toner cartridges are highly engineered for precision use. Yet many people just throw them away, rather than sending them away for re-use. Re-use is always less costly to our environment than recycling. Re-use involves replacing worn parts and refilling the cartridge with toner powder. Recycling involves, breaking up the cartridge and melting the various plastics down separately.

There are many companies offering this service and once you find one that provides quality remanufactured cartridges for your model of printer, you would be well advised to stick with that company. You can always find cheap, allegedly remanufactured laser cartridges, but these are just refilled and often have none of the worn components replaced.

The Power of a Pen

July 30th, 2011

Every leader, supervisor, coach, team member and parent has been told of the value of giving positive feedback. Weve heard reasons why. Weve heard we dont do it enough. Weve learned all of the basics about giving positive feedback successfully: make it timely, make it specific, and when giving positive feedback consider sharing it publicly.

All of this is good advice, but it falls short of the mark if we want to make a long term lasting difference in the self-image, confidence, and performance of others. In short, if you want to give positive feedback, consider doing more than telling people how you feel, consider writing it down.

Why Write it Down

Here are three reasons why written feedback is so valuable.

1.It is unusual. While most of us give (and receive) far too little positive feedback to start with, receiving it in writing is even more rare. The time taken to form our thoughts and write them down demonstrates to the receiver how valuable and important the feedback is.

2.It can be preserved. Verbal feedback can be preserved, but only in the mind of the receiver. I know that I have had people tell me very nice things that I remember, and in some cases I can even take you to the exact location that they told me. But our memories can fail, and those events can just be lost among the millions of moments in our lives. Not so with something in writing. Not only can the thoughts and comments be preserved, but you can bet that in many cases they will be saved for a very long time.

3.It will be re-read and therefore reinforced. Verbal praise is shared and can be savored by the receiver, but I dont think many people will stop the person giving the feedback and say, Will you tell me that again please? Quite the opposite for the hand written note. It will be read at least twice initially, and if the feedback is especially meaningful, perhaps several more times in the coming days – and often far beyond.

Some Ways to Do It

It really is as simple as picking up your pen and writing heartfelt, genuine comments to another human being. Here are some ways to help you get in the habit of giving people positive feedback in writing.

1.Send a letter. Writing someone a quick letter doesnt take very long. It doesnt need to be formal, it just needs to genuinely tell the other person how you feel. Dont put it off, just write it.

2.I like you because. I learned this from Zig Ziglar. He used to (and perhaps still does) produce small pads that used this sentence stem to make it easier to give someone positive feedback. The was printed with I Like You Because then it had several lines for you to fill in your note. I have used this idea for many years in a variety of settings with great success. Create your own pad like this on your computer, or start with a blank piece of paper or index card. Using this sentence starter may help you get started (and help you look for and find) the behaviors you want to praise.

3.Thank you notes. An extension of written feedback is the hand written thank you note. Most of us could write more thank you notes than we do, and they serve as an acknowledgement of what someone did for us, but they also serve as positive feedback. Commit to writing more thank you notes, or to adding a bit more feedback to those notes you do write.

4.Send them an email. This can be a letter in email, or a quick reply to a project update, letting someone know you thought their approach was good, or you appreciate how they are handling something. While the handwritten note is hard to beat, emails will be saved and re-read too. Dont underestimate the value of a quick three or four line email.

I could tell you stories of how meaningful written feedback has been, both to me and those I know. I could tell you stories of notes kept for years and re-read often. I could tell of people who said that some hand written encouragement buoyed their confidence and helped them through tough times and contributed mightily to their success.

You probably know of some of these stories too which means you know my premise is right that written praise can be extremely powerful. Since we know that it is valuable, and we know that it will be more than just appreciated, then it is our responsibility as leaders, teachers, parents, and siblings as people to give feedback to others in this way.

Ill bet as you read these words you thought of at least one person you could share positive reinforcement with in writing. Since you know who it is, and what to say, and now youve been reminded of the impact that act could have, you have no other choice.

Write that note now.

Youll be glad you did, and so will the recipient. And who knows, you may change another persons life forever.

The Advantages Of Flying Using Air Charters

July 30th, 2011

Most of us have been used to flying through commercial flights from the major airlines. When we choose commercial flights, the only thing that we consider is if we are going to fly in the business class, first class or economy. Seldom do we consider that we subject ourself to airline policies and regulations that can be strenuous or affect our privacy. Very few people really consider flying through a private air charter. So, what exactly happens when you charter a private plane? Here are the things that will make you better understand flying through private air charters. Flying using a private air charter has a number of advantages, here are some of them.

1. Travel According To Your Schedule

Have you experienced trying to call airline after airline just to inquire if they will be able to book you for a flight so you can attend a business meeting in New York? Airlines offer you a scheduled flight that may not fit your schedule considering the other meetings that you have to attend before flying to New York. Finally, you no longer need to keep up with the schedule to keep up with the schedules that airlines give you. You can fly at whatever time you choose. This way, you wouldn’t have to cancel important meetings or family activities at home just so you wouldn’t be late for your next out-of-state business meeting.

2. Choose The Airport

Unlike major airlines that only fly to busy airports, flying using a chartered plane allows you to choose which airports can you land. Therefore, you don’t have to spend so much time traveling by car from the airport to your destination, if there is a nearby airport. Also, you can prefer to avoid landing in the congested airports to save your traveling time. There’s no need for connecting flights or to change planes. With a chartered aircraft, you have the convenience of traveling continuously from your location to your destination. Unlike with commercial flights where you have to change planes to get to the connecting flight, you can sit comfortably even from long country to country flights.

3. Be On Time

Delayed flights can really be annoying, especially if you only have a few minutes before you next business engagement. A few minutes of delay can cost you much money. And what could be worse that missing your flight? Nothing to worry anymore. Chartered flights help you keep up with all the things on you schedule because you can say when you would like to fly.

4. No Lost Luggage

Losing your luggage is a nuisance. What if you only have a few minutes to freshen up and change your clothes before your next schedule? You can’t spend so much time looking for your luggage which could be mistakenly taken by another flight passenger. And doesn’t help that the airport will just send the luggage to your place when they find it. Since you are flying on your own or with your associates in an air charter, the risk of having your luggage mistakenly taken by another person is very meager. What’s even better is that you know who you’re flying with.

5. Get More Privacy

Flying through a regular commercial flight doesn’t permit you to discuss transactions with your colleagues. What if you just thought of a better way to make your presentation? You restrain yourself from taking about confidential details of your transaction, as you might be heard by the people sitting in front or behind you. Or what if you’re just so tired and wanted to get some sleep but other people just keep on taking? Chartered airplanes give you the privacy to discuss business transactions with your colleagues. Or if you just choose to sleep and relax, you have enough room to rest and nobody will bother you.

6. Business Class Convenience

If you think flying through a chartered flight denies you of the personalized service offered by airlines, think again. You can also have catered foods and the amenities given to business flight passengers. So, if you want to have the convenience of flying when you want, wherever you want, the confidence that your luggage will not be lost and enough privacy to do what you want during your own time, flying using an air charter is the best option for you.
