Affordable Auto Insurance And Fighting Insurance Fraud
Comments OffThe majority of folks out there are good people however you look at it. But we can’t be naive. There are also scoundrels among us. These are folks who will look for ways to cheat the system once they can see a way that would bring albeit some extra change. So what does this have to do with your quest for affordable auto insurance? I’d say a lot!
What you pay isn’t only a function of your risk profile but also a function of what it costs an insurer to be in business and stay profitable doing so. Therefore, if their overheads are higher, it reflects in higher premiums for all policyholders. This means that when folks defraud insurers, it’s us and NOT them (the insurers) that eventually pay since they simply add payments made out as part of business cost.
So before you shrug off insurance fraud as something that really doesn’t concern you, think of how much cheaper coverage would be for everyone if these fraudsters are stopped or if they find it more difficult to ply their trade. So, do whatever you can to stop fraudsters.
