Planting a tree can add value to your property. Some types are better for shade and insulating your home against the elements, others just add beauty and color. One that will add both color and beauty is the Wisteria Tree. These trees offer exceptional beauty with blue violet flowers that drape down in delicate clusters. The blooms shift in the breeze in a graceful movement. The tree form is a great way to have this beautiful accent in your yard, as it won’t spread and invade your property like the vine variety can. It will need a sunny location to do best and may require a minimum of trimming to keep the canopy well formed. It adapts to a large range of soils and is a fast growing tree. As a single specimen it will be the center of attraction during the blooming season, and it will entice the birds and the butterflies into your yard.

Since I have a daycare in my home I have to come up with arts and crafts projects constantly to keep the kids occupied. One day we were outside playing and just enjoying the weather when I noticed one of the kids engrossed in the wind chimes I had hanging on my porch. He would stop and listen practically every time the wind caught them in its grasp. That gave me an idea to make a wind chime as a project. They are pretty easy to make and they would be able to decorate them with paints and glitter to give them flare. I sent my assistant to the store to buy the supplies and while she was gone I explained to them what we were going to do and we got prepared for her return. It was a great day of art and imagination and they got to take them home to hang at their own home.

There are 4 types of termite in the world, and this based on their nesting model. Most people, especially regular Joes, do not know the difference, so we’ll explain here briefly just what those differences are. There are believed to be 2800 species of termites in the world, but the true number is likely to exceed 3000 species.
Of these, they can be grouped into 4 main groups, namely, subterranean termites, drywood termites, arboreal termites, and mound building termites. The subterranean termites are the ones that most people identify as pests of wood and timber.
The way subterranean termites cause damage is to enter a house via the ground beneath, through the floor foundations. From there, they make their way to wooden beams in between the walls. If undisturbed, these termites can ruin the house within months.
The mound building termites are the most advanced termites in the world and can create huge towering nests, but if you live in a temperate country you will not encounter them, as they all live in tropical and subtropical regions of the world.

Thyme is an aromatic herb, with a fragrant flavour. Thyme Leaves are small, and should be stripped from their woody stem before being used for most cooking purposes. They can then be finely chopped or added whole as desired.
Thyme is a hardy herb, and therefore stands up to much longer cooking times than soft herbs such as parsley and chervil, without turning bitter or losing its flavour. This makes it a perfect addition to soups, stews and casseroles, particularly one made with chicken. Try adding finely chopped thyme to chicken stews from the Mediterranean for a fragrant depth of flavour. They are also delicious when added to scrambled eggs and omelettes.
It is possible to use thyme as one of the ingredients of a bouquet garni – a French term which refers to a small bundle of herbs, tied together with string or a strip of leek or chive, and added to a soup, stock or stew whilst cooking to impart a wonderful flavour. This should be removed before serving.
Thyme Leaves can even be finely chopped and added to strawberry—based desserts for an interesting fragrance and a more unusual dessert.
